Thursday, June 7, 2012
A grand opening ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 to recognize
Oklahoma State University, the City of Stillwater and Rotary Clubs of Stillwater for
their work to create a city dog park.
Land for the Stillwaggin’ Dog Park, located at 801 W. 11th Avenue in Stillwater,
was donated by the city and money to finance the park was provided by three Stillwater
Rotary Clubs, OSU students and the university.
The park will be maintained by the university and is a "use at your own risk" facility.
Improvements to the park are already planned for the near future and include a dog
water station and non-working fire hydrants.
The ceremony is open to the public. For more information contact Lee Bird, Vice
President of Student Affairs, at 405.744.5358.
