Senior portfolio exhibition debuts at Gardiner Art Gallery
Public reception set for Sunday...
The works of a new group of graduating seniors is on display at the Gardiner Art Gallery through April 6 in a show titled “A Mind Designed: Graphic Design Senior Portfolio Exhibition.” The gallery will host a public reception honoring the student artists on Sunday, April 1, from 2-4 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Students receiving their bachelor of fine arts degrees in May will display examples of all three areas of study currently offered at OSU, including illustration, digital design, and print design. The exhibition represents the communication of each student’s artistic proficiency achieved after several years of experimentation, research, and critical thinking.
The students exhibiting work include Brooke Lehman, Daniel Nolen, Hannah Tuohy, Katelynn Moore, Kyle Cooper, Lauren Haynes, Luke Forwoodson, Stephanie Shoup, Greg Crothers, Austin Mayden, Julius Lewis, Nick Menghini and Rachel Herzig.
The Gardiner Art Gallery is fully accessible and located on the first floor of the Bartlett Center for the Visual Arts. There is no admission charge. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. The gallery is closed on Sundays and University holidays.
