When going on vacation for a few days, turn the thermostat on the A/C to 78-85 degrees
and Auto if the area will be unoccupied, especially if you live in an OSU Residential
Life apartment with an adjustable thermostat. You will save money because the unit
will only come on if the area gets that warm. When you return, reset the thermostat
to 74-78 degrees for summer energy savings. Note: A lower temperature setpoint will not cool the space any sooner.http://www.okstate.edu/energy/osu-energy-guidelines
