See Tour de Quartz

The Tour de Quartz is currently on display through July 6 at the Gardiner Art Gallery at 108 Bartlett Center for the Visual Arts at OSU. Tour de Quartz is a selection of artwork created by Oklahoma high school students during the 2011 Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain. The selected works will tour the state throughout 2012.

During their two-week residency at Quartz Mountain Resort in southwestern Oklahoma, the high school students are immersed in one of nine artistic fields and taught by world-renowned artists. The painting portion of the exhibition represents a variety of projects undertaken by the drawing/painting students during summer institute.
