Sigma Lambda Gamma receives chapter status

The Multicultural Greek Council is proud to announce that the women of the Oklahoma State University Sigma Lambda Gamma Colony gained chapter status June 13.

Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. colonized at OSU in November 2009. The sorority is part of the Multicultural Greek Council, which is one of the four governing councils of the fraternity and sorority community at Oklahoma State University.

"We are proud of the chapter, and all the accomplishments that led to its approval," said Landry Underwood, Graduate Assistant in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs and co-advisor to the Multicultural Greek Council. "Moving out of the colony stage and being recognized as an official chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority is an outstanding achievement."
