State awards OSU excellence level certification as a Certified Healthy Campus
The state’s health department has named OSU a Certified Healthy Campus and awarded it an excellence certification, which is the highest level offered. OSU will be recognized at an awards luncheon set for Thursday, March, 1, at the Cox Convention Center Ballroom in Oklahoma City. The certification program is part of the Shape Our Future campaign, which recognizes campuses that make a positive impact on the health of their students and staff. Certifications of basic, merit and excellence are awarded depending on scores in several ranking categories that include integration with the learning mission of higher education, collaborative practice, cultural competence, theory and evidence based practice, and professional development and service. More information on the event is expected to be posted soon at the following website: www.okacademy.org
