Two new Certified Global Business Professionals

Kate Arroyo, trade and development assistant, (left) and Justin Hazzard, international trade specialist, recently became Certified Global Business Professionals, an internationally recognized credential validating a person’s knowledge of international trade. Both work for the Wes Watkins Center for International Trade and Development at Oklahoma State University.
Two new Certified Global Business Professionals
Two staff members in the Wes Watkins Center for International Trade and Development at Oklahoma State University now carry the distinction of being Certified Global Business Professionals, an internationally recognized credential validating a person’s knowledge of international trade.
Kate Arroyo, trade and development assistant, has studied, worked or traveled in 13 countries across four continents and several island nations. Arroyo earned her Master’s degree in International Studies with a focus in International Trade and Development from OSU.
Justin Hazzard, international trade specialist, has been involved in international trade for more than seven years and has worked in Western Europe. Hazzard has also earned his Master’s from a top-ranking business school in France.
“The CGBP certification confirms knowledge in international trade and assures that employees are able to practice global business at the professional level required in today’s competitive environment,” Hazzard said. “Areas of knowledge tested include global management, global marketing, supply chain management and trade finance.”
The Wes Watkins Center for International Trade and Development offers a master’s-level course to prepare students and professionals for the CGBP exam.
