Five OSU students earn top honors at design competition

Five Oklahoma State University students were honored for their graphic design work
at the Graphex 44 Awards Show, an annual competition of professional and student design
held recently in Tulsa.
The Art Directors Club of Tulsa oversees the Graphex 44 competition, which helps students
gain exposure in the graphic design world and build their portfolios.
“Our student designers put countless hours of effort into their work. They are continuing
OSU's tradition of excellence,” said Phil Choo, associate professor of graphic design
at OSU.
The winners from OSU include:
Katie Amos, Tulsa senior, Best Digital Design Award
Jason Camarse, recent graduate from Dallas, Best Design Award
Kyra Guffey, Claremore senior, Best Identity Award and Best Illustration Award.
Caroline Kondos, recent graduate from Tulsa, Best Advertising Award
Mickey Smith, recent graduate from Coyle, Best Packaging Art Award, Best Miscellaneous
Project Award.
The OSU Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History is one of 24 in the College
