"Dirty Wars" screening is Monday
Follow national security correspondent Jeremy Scahill as he investigates America's
covert operations abroad and the rise of the world's most powerful mercenary army
in the award-winning documentary "Dirty Wars," at 6 p.m. Nov. 25, in 108 Wes Watkins
Center.
Based on Scahill's coverage for Nation magazine, "Blackwater: The Rise of the World's
Most Powerful Mercenary Army" and "Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield," the film
has received international acclaim, including winning the Cinematography Award for
U.S. Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival 2013.
The documentary's screening is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by Sigma
Iota Rho and OSU Amnesty International.
