Help stop the OU fight song fast
Join a team of Oklahoma State University students to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network by helping turn off the OU fight song “Boomer Sooner” as soon as possible after it starts playing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, outside the Edmon Low Library. “Boomer Sooner” will play continuously until the group OKState Dance Marathon reaches its goal of $1,000 for this fundraising event.
Students are invited to “Stop the Bop” by making donations of any size by putting money in cowboy boots that will be held by Dance Marathon staff members outside the Edmon Low Library that morning. They will also have the opportunity to pie a Sooner in the face for $5.
The OKState Dance Marathon’s executive board is made up of 20 OSU students who help organize several small fundraisers such as “Stop the Bop” as well as a large dance marathon event each year. OSU’s main Dance Marathon event will be Feb. 8, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
