Mortar Board names top 40 freshmen men and women

Forty Oklahoma State University students have been selected as the Top Twenty Freshmen
Men and the Top Twenty Freshmen Women for 2013.
The students, who are now sophomores at OSU, are selected to receive this honor based
on scholarship, community service, campus involvement and outstanding leadership during
their freshman year.
The Achafoa Chapter of Mortar Board at OSU will interview the 40 finalists to select
the Top Ten Freshmen Men and Top Ten Freshmen Women.
The 20 students will be formally recognized during a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 5,
in the Browsing Room of Edmon Low Library, and again later that day during half time
of the OSU-Kansas State football game.
