Oklahoma teens learn about the diversity of agriculture at OSU
The OSU Stillwater campus is hosting teenagers from around the state to help them learn more about agricultural research and the diverse careers available in the field June 24-28 at the 2013 REYAP Agriculture, Science and Technology Institute. The more than 30 students are also getting a better feel for college life at OSU, since many are living on campus during the institute.
The students participate in hands-on, interactive scientific experiences in the plant and soil sciences, meat processing and food safety, biochemistry and molecular biology, biosystems and agricultural engineering, and entomology and plant pathology career fields.
