OSU employees reminded of ComPsych services; encouraged to stay weather aware

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

With Sunday’s outbreak of tornadoes that affected some Oklahoma State University employees, and the threat of continued severe weather today, employees are reminded of the services available through ComPsych, OSU’s Employee Assistance Program provider.

ComPsych can help employees and their families cope in times of stress. Services are available to all benefits-eligible employees and dependents. Services are provided at no charge, 24 hours a day/7 days a week and also online.  Employees can call 1-855-850-2397 or go to www.guidanceresources.com. Additional information is available on the Human Resources website at http://hr.okstate.edu/benefits/hrEAP.

During tornado season, employees are encouraged to remain weather aware. The OSU campus safety site (http://safety.okstate.edu/) provides helpful tips and information. Employees are reminded that each individual is responsible for finding shelter in the event of a tornado.
