OSU faculty and staff invited to rehearsals for Handel’s “Messiah”
OSU faculty and staff is invited to join the chorus at some upcoming rehearsals to sing in the Department of Music's annual presentation of Handel's “Messiah” on Friday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 24 in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall.
This 272nd anniversary of history's most-performed work will have four efficient rehearsals (in November), and the two performances, all under the direction of Dr. Z. Randall Stroope, director of choral and vocal studies at OSU. Seven chorus movements will be performed, along with a myriad of solo movements – all with orchestra.
This is an exciting opportunity for faculty and staff across all academic areas to be involved. If you would like further information, please contact matthew.j.taylor@okstate.edu or zrandall.stroope@okstate.edu.
