OSU signs MOU with Andhra knowledge network in India

Oklahoma State University signed a memorandum of understanding on March 11 with India’s Andhra Pradesh Society For Knowledge Network (APSFKNW) to explore offering joint certificate programs.  Under the pact, Oklahoma State will explore the opportunities for offering joint certificate programs in analytics, data mining, decision support system and business intelligence through the Jawahar Knowledge Centres run by state-owned APSFKNW.

OSU President Burns Hargis and OSU graduate Andhra Pradesh, IT Minister Ponnala Laksmaiah, signed the agreement.  Laksmaiah said the aim of the agreement was to enhance the employability of the graduates through the Jawahar Knowledge Centres.

"We expect this memorandum of understanding to yield great results," said Hargis.  "OSU has benefited from the talent and work ethic of the people from this part of India and we want to do much more."
