Rhonda Vincent and the Rage at OSU
Bluegrass is on its way to Stillwater with a performance by award-winning musicians Rhonda Vincent and the Rage on Saturday, April 6, at 8 p.m. in the OSU Seretean Center Concert Hall.
Vincent has been called "the new queen of bluegrass" by the Wall Street Journal, and
she is the most decorated artist in that field. She has been nominated for 5 Grammy
Awards and has been awarded Female Vocalist of the Year by the International Bluegrass
Music Association seven consecutive times.
In 2010, Rhonda Vincent was the recipient of the prestigious "Star Award" from the
Bluegrass Heritage Foundation, recognizing her professional achievements and her efforts
to preserve and promote the tradition of bluegrass music. Accompanied by The Rage,
a lineup comprising some of the best musicians in the business today, Rhonda Vincent
brings the best in bluegrass to the stage. Vincent's music incorporates savvy contemporary
touches while drawing deeply from the authentic traditions of classic bluegrass.
