Silent auction for music programs on Friday

Sigma Alpha Iota International Music fraternity is hosting a silent auction to benefit its national philanthropy program as well as music programs destroyed in the Moore tornadoes this summer. The auction will be held in the Vivia Locke Theatre lobby of the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Nov. 1, from 6 - 8:30 p.m.

OSU music students will be performing throughout the evening and participants will get the chance to bid on over 15 different prize baskets with themes such as "Tulsa Date Night," "OKC Date Night," "A Manly Basket," and "Go Pokes."

Winners will be announced at 8:30, and you must be present to claim your item. Please join us for an evening of great music and great prizes! Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

SAI Philanthropies Inc. supplies disadvantaged schools nationally and internationally with musical instruments and sheet music, supports music therapy research and national programs, and provides funds for grants and scholarships for SAI members. Part of the proceeds from this silent auction will also go to the music programs devastated by the tornadoes in Moore this summer.
