Student move-in day information
Friday, August 9, 2013
STUDENTS:
The Oklahoma State University Department of Housing and Residential Life has been
working very hard to prepare for move-in and we are excited for your arrival this
coming weekend. Move-in day can be a fun and memorable experience. It can also create
some anxiety. In order to alleviate some of the potential stress, we want to inform
you of the best ways to enter campus on Sunday, August 11, 2013.
FARM ROAD ACCESS: There is construction on Farm Road. Parts of this road will be accessible, but please note that it will be compacted gravel and there are construction fences limiting some pedestrian access. Farm Road will be one way, heading east from Cleveland Street to Lincoln Street. Lincoln Street will be one way, heading north from Farm Road to Hall of Fame.
UNIVERSITY AVENUE: Anyone living in a residence hall that is located south of Farm Road should enter the campus from University Avenue.
MOVING YOUR VEHICLE: The south side of Farm Road will be a 30 minute unloading zone. Please unload and move your vehicle so other people can do the same. All vehicles must be moved from this street by 12:00 midnight or you will be towed.
MAP: Please review the above map which details affected areas of campus. There will also be signs and police officers to direct vehicular traffic.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as OSU continues to improve the campus. We anticipate the work on the east end of Farm Road will be completed soon. Please contact our office at (405) 744-5592 if you have questions. Thank you for your understanding and Go Pokes!
