Cowboy Angel Tree Kick Off Event

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Featuring Pistol Pete and a musical performance by Burnin’ Black Gospel Choir, the Cowboy Angel Tree Kickoff event will be held Nov. 20 at noon at the campus life lounge on the second floor of the student union.

Angel Tree is organized by the non-traditional student organization.  The program is designed to assist families in financial need to ensure that their children have a joyful Christmas.

There will be approximately 370 angels on the trees from various agencies such as DHS Foster Care, Payne County Youth, Wings of Hope, Family Resource Center and Mission of Hope.  Angels can be taken from the trees starting on Nov. 20 and must be returned to Campus Life by Dec. 2.
