McLarney to give public reading of poems Thursday

Rose McLarney will read her poems during a Late Thursday appearance at the Postal Plaza Gallery.
The OSU Museum of Art will host Rose McLarney, OSU English and creative writing faculty member, who will read from her collection of poems on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Postal Plaza Gallery.

McLarney's collection of poems, “Its Day Being Gone," won the 2013 National Poetry Series and was published in the spring of 2014. Her reading will be followed by a short question and answer session. Visit her website at rosemclarney.com.  The event is free and open to the public.

Every Thursday the OSU Museum of Art stays open until 8 p.m. Each month, the museum will host an information program performance, activity or discussion during Late Thursday. Click here to learn more about upcoming Late Thursday events at the OSU Museum of Art.

Late Thursdays provide an engaging atmosphere for the community to connect, explore the exhibitions on view, and enjoy a variety of cultural experiences. to promote an atmosphere of community growth, cultural liveliness, and student involvement at the museum.  Admission is always free.
