Whitney Bailey
Oklahoma Magazine has recognized two Oklahoma State University employees, Dr. Whitney Bailey and Eric Polak, among Oklahoma’s hardest-working professionals in its “40 Under 40” issue for 2014.

Bailey is an associate professor in human development and family science in the College of Human Sciences. She is the Bryan Close Professor in Adulthood and Aging and also serves as chair of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Citizens Advisory Panel for Aging Issues. She was honored in 2012 with the Regents Distinguished Teaching Award and recently accepted the Oklahoma State University Greek Outstanding Faculty Award for the College of Human Sciences.

Eric Polak
Polak serves as interim vice president for administration and finance at the OSU Center for Health Sciences. He also coordinates the administrative service departments that provide services to center. In addition to his work at OSU-CHS, Polak received the honor because of his work in mentoring youth in Tulsa, through his church, and supporting local missions to help make a positive impact in the community and around the world.
