OSU recognized on list of top public colleges

Monday, November 3, 2014

Oklahoma State University recently earned a place on the Business Insider list of the “Top 104 Smartest Public Colleges in America.” OSU was ranked 83 in the poll, which was based on a survey of schools that offered the most brainpower and affordability.

All public universities were considered affordable by the article, as the average annual cost of attending an in-state public school is around $20,000 less than that of a private college, according to US News & World Report. Jonathan Wai, a Duke University researcher, analyzed standardized test scores for each college to determine their overall intelligence.
