OSU student wins 2014 Miss Oklahoma Latina title

 Paulina Panduro is 2014 Miss Oklahoma Latina  

Oklahoma State University junior Paulina Panduro was crowned 2014 Miss Oklahoma Latina over the weekend in Tulsa.

The 22-year-old nutritional sciences major, from Poteau, will represent the state of Oklahoma at the 2014 Miss Latina U.S. Pageant to be held in the Dominican Republic in August.

During her first televised interview following her win last Saturday, Panduro described the pageant as  “A great experience in which I’ve learned so much about myself and had lots of fun. I have embraced my Latin roots and look forward to help others learn about the Latino culture.”

Panduro, originally from Michoacan, Mexico, most recently served as Miss Hispanic OSU for 2013.
