Science Café Forum June 19 on agencies and resources
The Science Café OSU community series concludes with a forum providing information on Oklahoma agencies and resources connected to oil and gas exploration on Thursday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the Stillwater Public Library auditorium.
“The forum will begin with each speaker providing current information and conclude with a structured question and answer session. We are very fortunate that these speakers are willing to come to Stillwater, provide additional information of interest to our community, and answer questions from the audience,” said Karen Neurohr, Science Café coordinator.
Forum speakers are Commissioner Dana Murphy, Oklahoma Corporation Commission; Kent Wilkins, Oklahoma Water Resources Board; Mason Mungle, Farmers Royalty Company and Oklahoma chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners; and Lloyd Kirk, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
The OSU Library has developed an online guide with information about the series. The guide includes program information, links to public resources, and frequently asked questions and answers: http://info.library.okstate.edu/sciencecafeosu.
Science Café OSU highlights interesting, relevant and current research and features brief presentations followed by discussion and questions. No science background is assumed or required.
