Boomer Blast is coming

Join the City of Stillwater and Stillwater City Council to celebrate 125 years of Stillwater with the Boomer Blast Fireworks Show, the annual Independence Day event on Friday, July 4, at Boomer Lake Park (Lakeview Road and Washington Street).

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and enjoy the free show. Parking lots open at 6:30 p.m. The show will start around 9:35 p.m. If Boomer Blast is rained out, the firework show will be on Saturday, July 5, or delayed until Fall.

You’re also invited to participate in the 17th Annual Family Fishing Tournament at 6 a.m. Friday at Boomer Lake's south boat ramp. Registration is at 5:30 a.m. Teams can include up to four family members. There are both boat and non-boat categories.
