Andrew Ranson to perform Songs of Travel on Sunday

Guest artist Andrew Ranson, tenor, will sing Songs of Travel on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 2:30 - 4 p.m. in the concert hall of the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts.
Ranson will perform works by Robert Schumann, Charles Ives and Ralph Vaughan Williams, accompanied by Heather Lanners on the piano. Ranson’s tenor was recently described as having “…a kind of stately, noble tone to it,” by the Tulsa World.
Originally from Gunnison, Colorado, Ranson has been featured in regional and touring productions, including Light Opera Oklahoma, and as an oratorio soloist performing several classical works. He is a member of the Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble and has appeared as a soloist for Canterbury Choral Society. For more information, visit www.andrewransontenor.com
Tickets for this performance are $8 general admission and $6 for students and senior citizens. They are available in the Music Department Office at 132 Seretean Center or online at http://marketplace.okstate.edu. Tickets also go on sale at the Seretean Center box office one hour before the performance.
