Cowboy Corral Returns During Anniversary Year of the OSU Alumni Center

The ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center is celebrating 10 years of bringing Cowboys home in 2005, and OSU alumni and friends are invited to attend the popular Cowboy Corral pregame events in the facility during the 2015 football season. Starting Saturday, September 12, the OSU Alumni Association will host Cowboy Corral before all football games on Saturdays with a noon or later kickoff.

The Cowboy Corral, which is sponsored by Liberty Mutual, features hot Hideaway pizza, Freddie Paul’s burgers and brats, and beverages available for purchase. The University Store is also on site with great orange merchandise. The event will open three and a half hours before the listed kickoff time.

Each event will feature the only on-campus game day pep rally two and a half hours prior to kickoff. The rally also includes the Cowboy Marching Band, Pistol Pete and the OSU Spirit Squad. It will be followed by Spirit Walk on Hester Street. Fans will also have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Bullet and the Spirit Rider team, who will be saddled up outside the Alumni Center one and a half hours before kickoff weather permitting. 

The first Cowboy Corral on Saturday, September 12, will include a special 10-Year Anniversary Celebration for the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center and the annual Pistol Pete Spurs Presentation. The anniversary celebration will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in Legacy Hall with the spurs presentation occurring at 4 p.m. inside the Click Family Alumni Hall.

Cowboy Corral festivities will conclude half an hour before each kickoff so fans can cheer on the Cowboys at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Alumni and fans looking for easy parking options near campus are also invited to reserve a space with the Alumni Association in the lot at the corner of University and Hester.
