The Indian Student Association to host Diwali Night

Wednesday, November 11, 2015

Join the Indian Student Association for a night of celebrating the rich and beautiful tradition of Indian heritage during Diwali Night on Saturday, November 14.

Diwali night begins at 5 p.m. at the Seretean Center for Performing Arts.

Diwali is often called the festival of lights and is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in India, according to the Indian Student Association CampusLink.  The ISA is working hard to bring that celebration in its entirety to Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Diwali night will include many festivities such as a mythological skit, classical dance performances, a fashion show and more.  There will also be traditional Indian food to try.

The ISA has seen more than 1000 people participate in Diwali night and expects to see the event continue to grow.

Tickets to Diwali night cost $10 for ISA members and $15 for non ISA members.

For more information about the event or purchasing tickets email osuisa@okstate.edu.
