OSU Wind Ensemble offers premiere for finale

The Oklahoma State University Wind Ensemble will present its final concert of the spring semester Thursday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall.
The repertoire for the season finale concert includes the regional premiere of “Deep Fathom Five” by John Mackey. Additional titles will include “Lux Aurumque” by Eric Whitacre, “Lincolnshire Posy” by Percy Grainger, “Roman Festivals” by Ottorino Respighi, and “Rolling Thunder” by Henry Fillmore.
Composed of the top graduate and undergraduate wind and percussion soloists at the university, the OSU Wind Ensemble is dedicated to the performance of the finest wind literature. Dr. Joseph Missal is conductor of the group.
Admission to the performance is $8 adults/$6 students and senior citizens. All proceeds benefit the OSU Department of Music.
