The OSU/A&M Board of Regents today selected an architect and a construction manager for the design and construction of a new undergraduate laboratory building on the Oklahoma State University-Stillwater campus and a construction manager to build a new allied health educational facility at OSU-OKC.

FSB of Oklahoma City with HKS of Dallas was selected as the architect to design an undergraduate laboratory building for the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at OSU-Stillwater. Flintco of Tulsa was selected as the construction manager.

The facility is necessary to meet tremendous growth in the college and will create a collaborative, cross-disciplinary facility for undergraduate students.

The new lab will be located west of the Donald W. Reynolds School of Architecture Building on the northeast corner of Hester Street and Athletic Avenue. The estimated cost of the laboratory is between $25 and $30 million.

The Board also selected Crossland Construction of Oklahoma City to construct the new health services building at OSU-OKC.

In addition to housing all the allied health programs, including nursing cardiovascular technology and dietetics technology through a partnership with local healthcare providers, the facility will house a health clinic for the campus and surrounding communities.

The estimated cost of the facility will range between $12 and $13.5 million.
