Ex-White House correspondent Ann Compton to speak in Tulsa, Oklahoma City in February

Ann Compton, legendary ABC News’ White House correspondent (1973 to 2014), will be the featured speaker for the upcoming Oklahoma State University Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings, presented annually by the OSU Spears School of Business along with corporate sponsors.

Compton, a distinguished and highly respected veteran of the White House press corps, will speak on the topic of “Inside the White House, Current Events and the 2016 Presidential Election.” She offers audiences a historical perspective of the presidency and the biggest stories of our time, today’s events making headlines and the 2016 presidential election.

Compton will be the featured speaker during a luncheon presentation from noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Tulsa Business Forums at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center. She also will speak at the Executive Management Briefings from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

The Spears School of Business is pleased to be offering this nationally acclaimed program for the 30th year in Tulsa and the 28th year in Oklahoma City. The series, made possible only through the support of corporate sponsors, provides an opportunity to interact with many of the world’s most influential business and political leaders in an effort to enhance quality leadership in Oklahoma.

  • Tulsa: Feb. 23 – Ann Compton, legendary News’ White House correspondent (1973-2014), Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center, 12 noon-1:30 p.m.

  • Oklahoma City: Feb. 24 – Ann Compton, legendary News’ White House correspondent (1973-2014), National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, 12 noon-1:30 p.m.

  • Oklahoma City: April 5 – Gen. Keith Alexander, Commander, U.S. Cyber Command (2010-2014) and Director, National Security Agency/Chief, Central Security Service (2005-2014), Civic Center, Oklahoma City, 4-5:30 p.m.

  • Tulsa: April 6 – Gen. Keith Alexander, Commander, U.S. Cyber Command (2010-2014) and Director, National Security Agency/Chief, Central Security Service (2005-2014), Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 10-11:30 a.m.

The cost is $85 per seat for the Compton luncheon, and $50 for the Gen. Alexander presentation.
