The public is invited to visit Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences during its Annual Open House on Saturday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admittance is free. No personal pets are allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The center is located at the corner of McFarland and West Farm Road on the OSU Stillwater campus.

Coordinated by veterinary students, the event is designed to showcase Oklahoma’s only veterinary college. Pet owners, those interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and anyone who wants to learn about veterinary medicine are encouraged to attend. Discover the facilities and technologies available to treat fur babies, exotic pets, and livestock.

Visitors will enjoy agility demos, free carriage rides by Circle A Draft Horses, tours of the OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital, face painting, equine treadmill demos, Oklahoma City Disc Dogs, Payne County K-9 Unit, and Teddy Bear Surgery where children can repair torn stuffed animals. Raffles will be available as well as pet adoptions and a silent auction to benefit Oklahoma’s wildlife.
