Tapingo and Oklahoma State University Launch On Demand Delivery

The holiday break may be over, but Oklahoma State University is welcoming students back from the break with continued holiday cheer. Having experienced tremendous success with Tapingo’s advanced mobile ordering capabilities, the University today announced the launch of Tapingo’s campus-wide on demand food delivery service…and the first delivery is free!

Starting today, students, faculty and staff living both on and off campus can order, using credit  or debit card*, on demand food delivery from off campus favorites such as Chipotle, McAlister’s, Whataburger and several local favorites. In the initial launch, Tapingo users will be able to enjoy food delivery between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. on weekdays. During phase two, Tapingo plans to extend the delivery window as well as introduce the option of ordering from select oncampus venues using their meal plan in addition to credit/debit cards. Important to note – at no time will Tapingo deliver alcohol or tobacco products.

Tapingo’s on demand delivery service and advanced mobile ordering capabilities are the perfect way to give options and convenience to students, faculty and staff, further strengthening the university’s ability to provide outstanding customer service. The new Tapingo delivery options will also create employment opportunities for students and members of the Oklahoma State University and Stillwater communities.

Tapingo, the leading mobile commerce application for campus dining services, makes eating on campus easier and more convenient than ever before.

The app, which is free to download, lets users browse menus, customize orders, pay, then have their items delivered or scheduled for pickup. Users are notified via text notification of their estimated arrival time or when their order is ready for pickup.
