OSU Cowboy Con set for Saturday

Monsters, heroes, gamers, spectators are all welcome at this year’s Cowboy Con on Saturday. 

The free event, organized by the Student Union Activities Board and Gamers of OSU, will be from 2-5 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Student Union Ballroom.

Besides socializing with other cosplayers and twelve Oklahoma vendors scattered around the room, attendees can compete in the largest gaming tournament the Student Union Activities Board has ever presented. 

Three Nintendo Switch Lites will be given to the first place winner of the tournament, the person with the best cosplay costume and the winner of a door prize drawing. 

“This is such a unique culture,” said Matt Vu, the SUAB coordinator of arts, culture and entertainment. “It’s so full of diverse and eclectic people who I’m excited to see showcased on Saturday.”
