Harvest Moon Festival to highlight cultural holiday
Wednesday, October 2, 2019
OSU's Vietnamese American Student Association and Asian-American Student Association will host the 17th annual Harvest Moon Festival from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 on the International Mall Lawn.
An important holiday that celebrates family gatherings as represented by the night of a full moon during fall, the Harvest Moon Festival is a showcase of Asian culture.
The free outdoor event is open to the public and includes free food, live performances, activity booths, kid-friendly games and raffles. In the event of rain, the celebration will move indoors to the International Exhibit Hall inside Wes Watkins Center.
