OSU/A&M Regents approve personnel actions

Several Oklahoma State University personnel actions were approved during the OSU/A&M Board of Regents meeting Friday in Stillwater.
NEW APPOINTMENTS: David Gray, teaching assistant professor, History; Asya Cooley, assistant professor, Media and Strategic Communications; Matthew Motta, assistant professor, Political Science; Kristin Olofsson, assistant professor, Political Science; Amy Wisniewski, research professor, Psychology; David Kersnar, professor and head, Theatre; Michael Gard, professor of professional practice, Electrical and Computer Engineering; Ratish Sachan, assistant professor, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering; Madison Chartier, assistant professor, Library; Douglas Hallenbeck, vice president, Student Affairs.
From the Center for Health Sciences: Valarie Jernigan, professor and executive director, Rural Health.
CHANGES: Saleh Taghvaeian, appointment to the Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies Professorship; John Romans, transition from dean and executive director of professional education with the College of Education, Health and Aviation to professor with the School of Community Health Sciences, Counseling and Counseling Psychology; Kenneth Sewell, appointment as president of the OSU Research Foundation.
