Oklahoma State University is offering free COVID-19 oral swab testing for students and employees at University Health Services (UHS) on the main Stillwater campus.

The voluntary drive-up/walk-up service will be by appointment to enrolled OSU students and employees. The oral swab tests, which are less invasive than nasal swab tests, will be administered by the OSU Center for Health Sciences under the covered driveway on the east side of UHS at 1202 W. Farm Road.

To make an appointment, patients should call 405-744-7665 or log in to your Patient Portal to schedule an appointment by 5 p.m. the day before they wish to be scheduled, making sure to note they are requesting testing on the Stillwater campus. Patients should bring their OSU Stillwater ID on testing day.

OSU continues to champion the state’s testing efforts and the new swab pod, which could more than double the testing capacity in Payne County, is the next step in the fight. The swab pod will be open through September at which time testing services will likely be transferred back to UHS’ permanent indoor facilities.

Drive-thru COVID-19 testing by appointment is also open to all at the Payne County Health Department, 1321 West 7th St., and other regional sites throughout the state. Call 405-372-8200 for more information.
