New appointments added to OSU A&M Board of Regents

On Friday, the Oklahoma Senate approved the appointment of Rick Walker and Billy Taylor to the OSU/A&M Board of Regents.

Rick Davis, chair of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents, welcomed the new additions.  

“Throughout our history, the OSU/A&M Board of Regents has benefited from the service of Oklahomans dedicated to our land-grant mission of teaching, research, and service. In keeping with that tradition, we are pleased to welcome Rick Walker and Billy Taylor to the OSU/A&M Board of Regents," Davis said. "They join the Regents as well respected leaders in their communities and graduates of Oklahoma State University.

"Regent Taylor brings the added perspective to our board as a graduate of Connors State College, one of the institutions governed by our Board of Regents. Regent Walker’s degree in finance and Regent Taylor’s degree in agriculture education combined with their successful banking careers will serve our board and institutions well moving forward. They join a board committed to helping each of our institutions contribute to the advancement of our state. We appreciate Gov. Kevin Stitt and his staff for their diligence in appointing two exceptional individuals to serve on our board, and we look forward to working with them and their energy and guidance.”
