OSU communications staff recognized with awards from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association

Marketing and communications professionals across the Oklahoma State University System took home over 70 awards from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association’s annual conference this summer.

The OCPRA Annual Conference invites professionals statewide to submit examples of their work from the last year in over 50 categories to compete for top honors amongst their peers. Entries for this year's awards totaled over 600 from 23 universities across Oklahoma.

“We are blessed to have incredibly talented marketing and communication professionals across the OSU System,” said Megan Horton, associate vice president of OSU Brand Management. “From branding to social media to content, video and photography, these talented individuals and teams work to support our land-grant mission, attract the best and brightest students, faculty and staff, and share stories highlighting the Cowboy family and OSU’s impact in Oklahoma and beyond.” 

The awards competition was created in 1992 to award achievement, recognize excellence and encourage a healthy competitive spirit among those who represent higher education to the public.
