OSU graduate programs among the best in U.S. News & World Report rankings

Several Oklahoma State University graduate programs earned spots in the annual U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings.

The College of Education and Human Sciences graduate program rose six spots, ranking No. 65.

The Spears School of Business' full-time MBA program climbed 18 spots to rank No. 58 nationally, while its part-time MBA program earned a No. 80 ranking. 

The College of Architecture, Engineering and Technology ranked strongly across multiple engineering disciplines, securing competitive placements in national rankings.

OSU’s overall engineering ranking improved five spots to No. 106. The industrial/manufacturing/systems engineering program saw the most significant rise, climbing six spots to No. 30.

Chemical engineering improved five spots to No. 85. Civil engineering moved up four spots to No. 73. Materials engineering also saw a five-spot increase, ranking No. 91.

In aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical engineering, OSU ranked No. 56, while agricultural engineering maintained its strong position at No. 20. The petroleum engineering program remained steady at No. 16.

“Our rise in national standing accompanies recent successes – the hiring of five research-active associate professors in addition to assistant professors, a 20% increase of research expenditures and a 25% increase of new students over the previous year,” said Dr. Hanchen Huang, CEAT dean.With this rise, CEAT is even better positioned to fulfill our A&M mission to educate engineering leaders, train workforce and drive Oklahoma’s economic development.”

OSU’s electrical/electronic/communications engineering program ranked No. 122, while mechanical engineering remained in the top 100 at No. 91.
