OSU Alumni Association announces inaugural OSU Outstanding Young Alumni Award honorees

The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association has announced the 11 honorees for the inaugural OSU Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

This award recognizes alumni of the Cowboy family who are age 40 or under who have distinguished themselves through their profession and the betterment of their community while serving as a champion for OSU.

• Dr. Rebekah Hartfield, ‘16, Holdenville, Oklahoma
• Dr. Myriah Johnson, ‘09, Lindsay, Texas
• Leah M. Roper, ‘11, Oklahoma City
• Dr. Darnell Smith, ‘06, ‘08, San Antonio, Texas
• Wyatt Swinford, ‘11, Edmond, Oklahoma

The OSU Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipients will be honored during a luncheon on Friday, Jan. 16, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center and recognized at the Kansas State vs. OSU men's basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 17.
