Julie Koch Receives APA Presidential Citation

The American Psychological Association presented a Presidential Citation to Oklahoma State University assistant professor Julie Koch for her dedication to the professional development and training of future psychologists. Koch serves as training director for the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program in the College of Education.
The citation noted that Koch has taken on major training responsibilities at an early stage of her career. In addition to this work, Koch was elected to serve a three-year term on the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Program’s (CCPTP) executive board and one the top 99 Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy professors in 2013.
The citation stated, “(Koch’s) passion for training can be seen in the support she provides students and colleagues, her insights about issues facing psychology, her passion for advancing diversity and justice, and her accomplishments for CCPTP.”
