Student Wins National Aviation Video Contest

Miles Turner, an Oklahoma State sophomore and OSU Flying Aggies officer, won the national ExpressJet Airlines Video Contest to secure a $1,000 cash prize for the student organization.

Turner, who is from Odessa, Texas, serves as the safety officer for the Flying Aggies. He says the cash prize will go a long way toward fixing the club’s aircraft N600SU.

Turner learned of the competition through a Facebook ad. The purpose of the videos was to demonstrate the student’s love for aviation.

Since Turner won the competition, ExpressJet will visit the OSU Flying Aggies during an upcoming meeting to present the award money, and provide a pizza party.
