Self Named President-Elect for University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education

Mary Jo Self, associate professor in career and technical education and workforce and adult education, has been named the president-elect for the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education (UCWHRE), a nonprofit organization representing the nation’s leading universities that provide research, service, teacher education and advance graduate studies in career and technical education and human resource development.
Self previously served as president of the National Association of Industrial and Technical Teacher Educators (NAITTE) and the Association for Career and Technical Education Research (ACTER). With this new appointment, she will have served as president of all three major professional organizations in her field.
