Enrollment is now open for senior-adult educational classes offered in-person and online by the Oklahoma State University Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

With more than 60 classes offered in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, Bartlesville and online, OLLI provides engaging learning and social opportunities for people age 50 or older.

Class topics range from art, literature, history, science, film, culture, cooking and more. The fall session is designed to maximize participation opportunities and cater to individual needs by offering three class format options: in person, online and telecast.

“The variety of topics offering this fall is stellar," said Robbin Davis, OLLI director. “We are excited to try new approaches that bring our participants the broadest range of options.”

Classes vary in length with rolling start dates beginning as early as Sept. 20 and running through Nov. 12. Multi-week classes are $25 and single-session classes are $10 with some being offered for free, in addition to a $40 annual membership fee. Those seeking unlimited attendance to classes offered in the fall, spring and summer sessions can purchase a premium annual membership for $200.

“Anyone who is interested in never retiring from learning should consider an OLLI class,” Davis said. “There are no tests or grades, just learning for pure pleasure.”
