2012 CEAT Annual Faculty and Staff Awards Presented

The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology celebrated significant faculty and staff awards on December 17, 2012. The following were recognized for exceptional performance within the college:

Dr. Satish Bukkapatnam, Professor in Industrial Engineering and Management, was honored as the Halliburton Outstanding Faculty Award recipient.
Dr. Lorenzo Cremaschi, Assistant Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, was honored with the Halliburton Outstanding Young Faculty Award.
Dr. Manju Kamath, Professor in Industrial Engineering and Management, received the Halliburton Excellent Teacher Award.
Dr. David Rubenstein, Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering and Management, received the Halliburton Excellent Young Teacher Award.
The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Teaching Excellence Award was given to Dr. Glann Brown, Professor in Biosystems and Ag Engineering, and Dr. Chuck Bunting, Associate Dean of Research and Sponsored Programs.
The 2012 Outstanding Advisor Award was given to Dr. Balabhaskar Balasundram, Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Casey Ward, Financial Assistant in CEAT Outreach, received the Outstanding Staff Award for a non-exempt employee with less than five years of service.
Receiving the Outstanding Staff Award for non-exempt with more than five years was Toni Connelly, Senior Accounting Specialist with CEAT Outreach.
Mike Sturzenbecker was awarded the Outstanding Staff honors for an exempt employee with less than five years of service, while his coworker, Ann Moffat, received the same award for more than five years of service. Both staff members work with in Fire Protections Publications for the College.
