Architecture Students and Faculty Volunteer in Moore
Monday, September 9, 2013
OSU architecture students show the true meaning of service by volunteering time and effort on Saturday to assist with cleanup efforts and logistics in Moore, Okla. Following a devastating tornado in May this year, much work is left to be done as home owners in that area are still putting pieces of their former lives back together.
Students took the “Bob” OSU bus to Moore and under the guidance of faculty professors Jeanne Homer and Carisa Ramming, assisted with a variety of projects.
Helping citizen of Oklahoma and living up to the land grant mission of OSU, the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology is proud of these students and their commitment to improving the world around them.
