OSU Alumni Association names 47 Seniors of Significance

The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association has named 47 students as OSU Seniors
of Significance for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship,
leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.
“This year’s Seniors of Significance have made a lasting impact on our campus and
in their individual academic fields during their time at OSU,” says Chris Batchelder,
OSU Alumni Association president. “We know they will continue to excel after graduation
when they join the OSU alumni family.”
The 47 students represent the top one percent of the Class of 2014 including all
six OSU undergraduate colleges. A public reception to recognize the winners and their
families will be held on November 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni
Center.
Of 47 students selected, 10 were form the college of Engineering, Architecture and
Technology. Those students are listed below with their hometown and major.
- Kelsy Collins, Celina, Texas, mechanical engineering
- Kody Jones, Mustang, Okla., mechanical engineering
- Ashlee Keenum, Edmond, Okla., chemical engineering
- Haley Kincannon, Duncan, Okla., fire protection and safety technology
- Margaret Lees, Midwest City, Okla., chemical engineering
- Whitney Lisenbee, Jenks, Okla., biosystems engineering
- Andrew Timothy Martin, Omaha, Neb., mechanical engineering
- Rebecca Purvis, Houston, Texas, biosystems engineering
- Logan Michael Scott, Jones, Okla., chemical engineering
- Donnie Worth, Tahlequah, Okla., chemical engineering
