Dewberry Welcomes Energy Solutions Expertise of Robert Austin

Fairfax, VA—June 9, 2014

Dewberry, a nationally recognized professional services firm, has hired Robert Austin as the assistant business unit manager for the newly formed energy solutions group. Based in Dewberry’s Denver, Colorado, office, Austin will manage the group’s projects and performance in the Western U.S., including energy engineering and consulting, energy audits and analysis, energy modeling, and facility optimization and commissioning.

Austin has more than 10 years of experience in the energy industry, specializing in retro-commissioning implementation, design-build delivery, energy consulting, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. His technical expertise includes energy modeling, analysis, and auditing, ASHRAE standards, life-cycle cost analysis, HVAC design and operation, and automation system design.

Austin holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater.
