Cassie Mitchell receives Bobby Dodd Institute Circle of Excellence award

OSU CEAT alumna Cassie Mitchell received the Bobby Dodd Institute Circle of Excellence award on March 2, 2016.

Mitchell graduated summa cum laude with her B.S. in chemical engineering from OSU in 2004. While at OSU, she was named a USA Today Academic All-American, a National Barry M. Goldwater Scholar and an OSU Outstanding Senior, among numerous other awards and accolades.
Mitchell was president of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, co-founder of ChemKidz and a member of OSU's wheelchair athletics team. She credits her research career start to the Wentz Research Award she received as an OSU undergraduate.
Mitchell was the recipient of the 2012 CEAT Lohmann Medal, 2015 OSU Distinguished Alumni Award and was inducted into the OSU CEAT Hall of Fame in 2015.
